As you may already know, Earth Hour was a resounding success. In Sydney the power dip from more than 2 million businesses and households increased from 5 to 8.4%, in Melbourne, with a similar number taking part, it reached 10.1%, and in other cities it went as high (or as low!) as 15%. Canada had 150 cities participating!
Earth Hour happened officially in:
Aalborg, Aarhus, Adelaide, Atlanta, Bangkok, Brisbane, Canberra, Chicago, Christchurch, Copenhagen, Darwin, Dublin, Hobart, Manila, Melbourne, Montreal, Odense, Ottawa, Perth, Phoenix, San Francisco, Suva, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Toronto and Vancouver.
Not bad! A lot of our globe participated in smaller ways. Labels: Earth Hour, Mega Planning, Sustainability |
